For 40 years, the National Humanities Center has worked to bridge the gap between the academic world and the classroom through our education webinars and America in Class programs. That work has never been more critical than right now, as teachers must help their students understand a complex and challenging world.
As a teacher, you understand that students must grasp the stories behind the facts, appreciate context, recognize trends, and most importantly, question assumptions.
How You Can Help
Your support with a gift of even $5 or $10 can help open up a world of ideas for teachers and rekindle their enthusiasm for the subjects they teach. All gifts received through this campaign will provide teachers like you with the knowledge and tools they (and their students) need to make a difference.
The Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by IRS regulations. Donors receive the Center’s publications, as well as invitations to events and lectures. They are recognized in the National Humanities Center Annual Report.
