Support the Humanities

The humanities encourage us to consider the complex and varied array of human experiences, ideas, and expressions.

For nearly 50 years, the National Humanities Center has nurtured the work of scholars who have helped us appreciate the human story more fully and in greater depth. The ideas they’ve produced have been disseminated far and wide—on campuses, in classrooms, and in communities—influencing the way we think about the world and our place in it.

Your support makes all of this possible. Please consider making a gift today, and help us continue the humanities’ vital work.

Creating Impact with Your Gift

Every gift makes a meaningful difference and helps advance the National Humanities Center’s mission. The most impactful support often comes in the form of unrestricted gifts, which provide the flexibility to address the Center’s highest priorities and emerging opportunities.

We also welcome gifts designated to specific funds that directly support the Center’s programs and initiatives. Below are several areas you may wish to consider. If you have questions about the Center’s current needs or would like assistance selecting a designation that aligns with your philanthropic interests, please contact the Development team.
