Leadership
Empowering teacher leaders and the next generation through professional development programming and mentorship.
Undergraduate Humanities Innovators
The National Humanities Center established the Undergraduate Humanities Innovators program to help prepare a select group of students for their future career trajectories with humanities-based leadership skills. Through intimate discussions with humanities practitioners, professional development opportunities, and mentorship for independent research projects, our student innovators explore the value of humanistic perspectives across a diverse range of professional pathways.

Teacher Advisory Council
Critical to the Center’s mission is the role of in-service and experienced teachers in providing relevant and critical perspective to our work. The Teacher Advisory Council supports the Center’s Education Programs for a one-year term of service. Chosen to represent multiple disciplines in the humanities, these teacher leaders accept an active role in the development, evaluation, and promotion of NHC materials and projects.
