Fellowship Work Summary, 2004–05

Mary A. Favret completed one chapter and drafted another for her six-chapter book The Ground of War: Wartime in British Romanticism. She wrote a paper, "War and Everyday Life in Britain," which she presented at a conference on "War in the Age of Revolution, 1776-1815," held at the German Historical Institute in Washington, D.C.; papers from the conference will be published in a volume coedited by Roger Chickering and Stig Foerster (Cambridge University Press). She also wrote an article, "Everyday War," that will appear in the online journal ELH (vol. 72, no. 3, 2005).
