Fellowship Work Summary, 1995–96
Harlan R. Beckley wrote approximately 200 pages of manuscript on his project at the Center, "Equality of Opportunity: Renewing and Revising a Neglected Idea. " He edited and introduced Economic Justice: Selections from Distributive Justice and A Living Wage, Writings of John A. Ryan, (Westminister/John Knox Press, 1996) and completed two reviews—one for The Journal of Religion on William Schweiker's Responsibility and Christian Ethics; the other for Interpretation on Douglas F. Oattati's Reforming Protestantism: Christian Commitment in Today's World.
