Robin Haley-Ivory is the National Humanities Center’s data services librarian. At the Center, Robin supports digital collection initiatives through implementing metadata standards and assists Fellows by managing a range of reference requests with local and international libraries.

Robin earned her master of library science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a concentration in archives and records management. Since 2018, she has implemented and supported digital asset management and digital preservation best practices at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the State Archives of North Carolina. Prior to joining the library staff, Robin was head of digital collections for the Center’s COVID-19 Oral History Project, a role in which she created and maintained a database for born-digital assets in accordance with metadata and accessibility standards.
