Yuichi Shionoya wrote seven of the twelve chapters of Schumpeter and the Idea of Social Science: A Metatheoretical Study (Cambridge University Press, 1995). He also completed several essays: "A Methodological Appraisal of Schmoller's Research Program," to appear in Economics and Ethics in the German Historical School, edited by Peter Koslowski; "Getting Back Max Weber from Sociology to Economics," for the journal of the VereinfürSozialpolitik; and "The Ethics of Competition," forthcoming in European Journal of Law and Economics.
