Fellowship Work Summary, 1995–96

William M. Reddy engaged in extensive research and explored methodological approaches for his project examining the relation between "fiction"—in the form of novels and theater pieces—and the elaboration of personal identity in early nineteenth-century France. He also wrote "Against Constructionism: The Historical Ethnography of Emotions," submitted to Current Anthropology.
