Fellowship Work Summary, 2001–02

Tista Bagchi rewrote two chapters and wrote four additional chapters of her book entitled The Sentence in Language and Cognition; she also drafted four chapters of another book with the working title Talking and Doing Justice: Language in Practical Reasoning. She wrote an article entitled "Of Causation and Tense in Subordinate Clauses: Conjunctive Participles and Conditionals in Bangla and Hindi," to appear in a memorial volume for James D. McCawley, edited by Rebecca Wheeler, Salikoko Mufwene, and Elaine Francis.
