Fellowship Work Summary, 2000–01

Timothy Tackett completed several chapters (based on extensive analysis of a large volume of notes collected over a year and a half of research in France) and made final revisions on his book, tentatively entitled The King Has Fled: The Flight to Varennes and the Origins of the Terror. He wrote an article, "Interpreting the Terror," that will appear in the fall 2001 issue of French Historical Studies, and completed a preliminary outline and sketch of volume 7 of the Cambridge History of Christianity, to be titled Enlightenment, Revolution, and Reawakening: The Christian World, 1660-1815, which he is editing.
