Terence McIntosh drafted two chapters for his book, under the working title The Church, the Courts, and Illicit Sex in Germany, 1700-1830, and wrote an article entitled "Urban Demographic Stagnation in Early Modern South Germany: A Simulation" for the Journal of Interdisciplinary History. He wrote reviews of several books for the American Historical Review 105 (April 2000), the Journal of Modern History; and the Journal of Canadian History.
