Susan Langdon researched and wrote three chapters of her book, provisionally entitled Gender and Society in Early Iron Age Greece. She wrote two articles, “Inalienable Possessions: Biographies from Early Greece” and “Trial by Amazon,” and finished two others, “Figurines and Social Change: Visualizing Gender in Dark Age Greece” for From the Ground Up: Beyond Gender Theory in Archaeology. Proceedings of the Fifth Gender and Archaeology Conference and “Female Figurines on Greek Geometric Bronze Tripods” for Proceedings of the 13th International Bronze Congress (Journal of Roman Archaeology Supplement). Langdon is Adjunct Associate Professor of Art History and Archaeology, University of Missouri-Columbia.
