Stuart Clark drafted three chapters of a monograph on "Visual Reality in Early Modern Europe," and wrote two essays: "Johannes Althusius and the Politics of Witchcraft," for a Festschrift in honor of Benut Ankarloo, to be published by the University of Lund, and "Demons, Natural Magic, and Virtual Reality: Illusion in Early Modern Europe," for a volume of essays on the history of science, published by Sixteenth-Century Studies. He wrote the introduction and edited a collection of essays entitled Languages of Witchcraft: Narrative, Ideology and Meaning (Routledge, 2000).
