Robert Beachy completed drafts of the first three chapters of his book Berlin: Gay Metropolis, 1860-1933. He reviewed page proofs for two collections he is coediting: Pious Pursuits: German Moravians in the Atlantic World (with Michele Gillespie; Berghahn Books, 2007), and Who Ran the Cities: City Elites and Urban Power Structures in Europe and North America, 1750-1940 (with Ralf Roth; Ashgate, 2007). He wrote book reviews for American Historical Review, the Journal of Modern History, German History, the Journal of Southern History, and the Journal of British Studies.
