R. Larry Todd completed two books: Becoming Fanny Hensel (Oxford University Press, forthcoming), and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy: Sein Leben, Seine Musik (Stuttgart: Carus/Reclam, 2008), the German translation of his Mendelssohn: A Life in Music. He also finished editing Mendelssohn, Lieder ohne Worte (Kassel: Bärenreiter Verlag).
