Philip Rupprecht worked extensively on four of the seven chapters for his book Avant-Garde Nation: British Musical Modernism since 1960 (Cambridge University Press, forthcoming), and drafted a journal article, "'Something Slightly Indecent': British Composers and the 1950s European Avant-Garde." Rupprecht has accepted a new position as associate professor of music at Duke University.
