Fellowship Work Summary, 2000–01

Paulla Ebron finished a book entitled Performing Africa that will be published by Princeton University Press (2002); drafted a chapter for her book in progress, Making Tropical Africa in the Georgia Sea Islands; finished an article entitled "Contingent Stories: Anthropology, Race, and Feminism" that will appear in a volume called Black Feminist Anthropology, edited by Irma McClaurin (Rutgers University Press, forthcoming, September 2001); and wrote a review of Rumba on the River by Gary Stewart for the Journal of Modern African Studies.
