Paul Strohm completed and revised England's Empty Throne: Usurpation and Symbolic Legitimation, 1399—1422 and wrote the William Matthews Memorial Lecture on "John Oldcastle: Another Ill-Famed Knight" for presentation at Birkbeck College, University of London in May.
