Fellowship Work Summary, 2006–07

N. Katherine Hayles wrote most of her book Electronic Literature: Playing, Interpreting, Teaching, to be published by the University of Notre Dame Press. She wrote several research articles including "Revealing and Transforming: How Electronic Literature Re-Values Computational Practice" for Performance Research (vol. 11, no. 4, 2006); "Unfinished Work: From Cyborg to Cognisphere" for Theory, Culture and Society (vol. 23, 2006); and "The Future of Literature" for Collection Management (forthcoming, vol. 32, 2007). For the Electronic Literature Organization (http://eliterature.org/), she wrote an article, "Electronic Literature: What Is It?" (January 2007), and coedited (with Nick Montfort, Scott Rettberg, and Stephanie Strickland) a CD, Electronic Literature Collection, vol. 1 (2006).
