Fellowship Work Summary, 2015–16

Michelle O'Malley conducted extensive research and made significant progress on a research project on Botticelli’s workshop pictures. She also began drafting several journal articles, including “Making Botticelli’s Workshop Pictures” for Art History and an article re-dating and re-positioning among Botticelli’s earliest works the similar pictures in Chicago and Pasadena for Burlington Magazine. She also conducted research on the rise in demand in devotional pictures in Florence over the course of the fifteenth century for future publication.
