Fellowship Work Summary, 1996–97

Michel Fabre engaged in research for his project examining the relationship between group identity, race, language, and culture in the Creoles-of-color communities in nineteenth-century Louisiana. He revised an essay on Louisiana Creoles-of-color in France for an edited collection and wrote several entries for the Encyclopedia of African-American Associations.
