Fellowship Work Summary, 1992–93

Michael Maas concentrated on two major projects: he wrote portions of several chapters of his book, The Limits of Ethnography: Ethnicity and Empire in the Late Roman World, while continuing on another book-length project in collaboration with Dominic Montserrat, John Lydus' de Mensibus: Translation and Commentary, which will appear as a volume of Byzantina Australiensia. He finished an article entitled "Cultural Loyalty in Priscus of Panium."
