Mary Hunter completed five of the six chapters of her book, Opera Buffa and the Poetics of Convention. She drafted "Comedy, Performance, and Voice in Opera Buffa," wrote "Landscapes, Gardens, and Gothic Settings in the Opere Buffe of Mozart and His Contemporaries," to appear in Current Musicology, and revised forty brief articles on eighteenth-century Italian opera for The New Grove Dictionary of Opera.
