Fellowship Work Summary, 1998–99

Mary Gluck spent the year doing research and writing for her book, entitled The Cultural Origins of the Modernist Artist: The Bohemian, the Flaneur, the Decadent and the Primitive, a chapter of which will appear in the Journal of the History of Ideas, under the title "The Bohemian as Aesthetic Radical." She was a participant in the Triangle Intellectual History Seminar.
