Martin J. Wiener wrote comments for a roundtable on C. A. Bayly's Recovering Liberties: Indian Thought in the Age of Liberalism and Empire for Britain and the World (2012), and two journal articles, "Liberalism and Empire: A New Conventional Wisdom?" and "On the Idea of 'Colonial Legacy.'"
