Linda Levy Peck began research on a new study, "Britain in the Age of the Baroque," and wrote two essays, both for forthcoming edited volumes from Cambridge University Press: "The Political Discourse of Kingship, Counsel, and Law in Early Stuart Britain," in Varieties of British Political Discourse, 1500–1800, and "Peers, Patronage, and the Politics of History," in Elizabethan Court Cul-ture: The Last Decade.
