Linda Levy Peck began research on a new study, "Britain in the Age of the Baroque," and wrote two essays, both for forthcoming edited volumes from Cambridge University Press: "The Political Discourse of Kingship, Counsel, and Law in Early Stuart Britain," in Varieties of British Political Discourse, 1500-1800, and "Peers, Patronage, and the Politics of History," in Elizabethan Court Cul-ture: The Last Decade.
