Fellowship Work Summary, 1992–93

Leo Spitzer drafted four of six chapters of Surviving Memory, a study of the Central European Jewish refugee emigration to Bolivia. He also wrote "Andean Waltz" for Ideas (Winter 1993) and, with Marianne Hirsch, prepared "Gendered Translation: Claude Lanzmann's Shoah" for Gendering War Talk, edited by M. Cooke and A. Woollacott (Princeton University Press, 1993).
