Karen Hagemann

made extensive progress on her book Revisiting Prussia's War Against Napoleon: War, Political Culture, Memory, under contract with Cambridge University Press. She wrote "Literaturmarkt, Zensur und Meinungsmobilisierung: Die politische Presse Preußens zur Zeit der Napoleonischen Kriege" for an edited volume Agenten der Öffentlichkeit: Theater und Medien im 19. Jahrhundert; coedited Gender and the Long Postwar: Reconsiderations of the United States and the Two Germanys, 1945-1989; and as editor-in-chief began work on the Oxford Handbook on Gender, War and the Western World since 1650, under contract with Oxford University Press.
