Fellowship Work Summary, 1993–94

Judith Evans Grubbs finished Law and Family in Late Antiquity: Constantine's Legislation on Marriage, to be published by Oxford University Press in the spring of 1995. She also worked on an essay, '"Pagan' and 'Christian' Marriage: The State of the Question," to appear in the fall 1994 issue of the Journal of Early Christian Studies, and on two papers—"The Good, the Bad, and the Holy: Women in Late Roman Law" and "Pietas and Power: Parent-Child Relations in Roman Law."
