Fellowship Work Summary, 2017–18

John McGowan made progress toward a book-length manuscript on the humanities in the contemporary university and completed a coedited volume, The Norton Anthology of Theory and Criticism, 3rd edition (Norton, 2018). He also wrote "Intellectuals in Dark Time" for Sociological Review (forthcoming), in addition to making substantial progress on two essays.
