John Beldon Scott wrote two essays which will appear as chapters in his book, Architecture of the Shroud: Guarini's Chapel in Turin and the Ritual Space of a Dynastic Relic. He completed a third article on patronage and the visual encomium during the pontificate of Urban VIII (1623-1644) that will be published in the forthcoming volume of the Memoirs of the American Academy in Rome.
