Joel Marcus finished writing his book Mark 9-16: A New Translation with Introduction and Commentary, Anchor Bible Series (Doubleday, forthcoming), and wrote an article, "Crucifixion as Parodic Exaltation," that is forthcoming in the Journal of Biblical Literature.
