Fellowship Work Summary, 1997–98

James Buzard worked on his book Anywhere's Nowhere: Fictions of Autoethnography in the United Kingdom, to be published by Princeton University Press. He wrote three essays, including one for Blackwell's Companion to Victorian Literature and Culture, and another for the journal Studies in Travel Writing, and edited a special issue of the journal Victorian Studies on "Victorian Ethnographies." He gave talks at the University of Minnesota, Indiana University, Duke University, the University of Tennessee, and the Modern Language Association Conference in Toronto.
