Ilya Kliger drafted three chapters of his book Untimely Community: The Tragic Imagination in the Age of Russian Realism. He also completed "Historical Poetics between Russia and the West" for Poetics Today (vol. 38, no. 3, 2017) and "Scenarios of Power in Turgenev's 'First Love'" for Comparative Literature (forthcoming).
