Fellowship Work Summary, 2018–19

Huaqiang Li revised the outline of the project and drafted two chapters of Design, Ideology, and Communication: A Visual Culture Study of the Publications of Chinese Left-wing Literature 1928–1937. He also wrote several essays (in Chinese) including “Investigation on the Issues of Chen Zhifo’s Studying in Japan” for Chen Zhifo Art Museum Journal (February 2019), “Returning to the Historical Context: Chen Zhifo’s Art Design Exploration” for Journal of Aesthetic Education (April 2019), and “Urban Roaming and Design Practice: Chen Zhifo’s Social Activity Spaces in Shanghai City” for New Arts (May 2019).
