Fellowship Work Summary, 1991–92

Hong Zhu wrote and delivered a paper examining images of women in contemporary Chinese fiction at Harvard University. This piece—"Women, Illness, and Hospitalization"—will appear in a volume of conference papers, Gender and China, to be published by Harvard University Press. She also worked on "Gossip—Ramblings in Contemporary Chinese Fiction," solicited for the Daedalus Collection of Essays (Stanford University Press).
