Fellowship Work Summary, 2001–02

Gerald Early worked on his book This Is Where I Came In: Essays on the 1960s (University of Nebraska Press, forthcoming). He wrote an article and review for the New York Times; and a review of the film Ali that appeared in Sports History Journal. He wrote an entry on Muhammad Ali for the sports volume of the Scribner Encyclopedia of American Lives and one on African American literature for the Dictionary of American History. He also developed a questionnaire for interviewing Korean War veterans.
