Fellowship Work Summary, 2010–11

Gavin Kelly focused on his monograph on Rutilius Namatianus's elegiac poem De reditu suo. As coeditor, he finished the editorial process for Two Romes: Rome and Constantinople in Late Antiquity (Oxford University Press, forthcoming 2012). In addition, he wrote "Claudian and Sidonius" for New Approaches to Sidonius Apollinaris (Peeters of Leuven, forthcoming 2012); "Pliny and Symmachus" for Pliny in Late Antiquity (forthcoming 2012); "The Political Crisis of AD 375–376"; and "Rutilius Namatianus, Melania, and the Monks of Capraria."
