Fellowship Work Summary, 2006–07

Francesca Bordogna worked extensively on her new book The Pragmatist Hotel: Traveling Philosophers and the Creation of an International Pragmatist Network, 1890-1915, and revised several chapters of her book William James at the Boundaries: Philosophy, Science, and the Geography of Knowledge (University of Chicago Press, forthcoming). She also wrote an article, "Inner Division and Uncertain Contours: William James and the Politics of the Self," for the British Journal for the History of Science (vol. 40, no. 3, 2007).
