Fellowship Work Summary, 1992–93

Elizabeth D. Kirk completed a draft of her book, Standing in Unknowing: Self Society, and Religious Experience in Fourteenth-Century English Narrative. She also worked on an essay, "Langland's Christology," for a volume on the narrative strategies of Piers Plowman in honor of R. W. Frank, Jr. (edited by Robert Edwards, forthcoming from Boydell and Brewer), and on an article, "Learning Collaboration," for a special issue of Liberal Education (Spring 1993) devoted to preparing the future professoriate.
