Fellowship Work Summary, 1992–93
Donald Crummey drafted six to seven chapters of a book provisionally called "Polity and Property: Land and Society in the Christian Kingdom of Ethiopia, 1300 to 1900." He also completed "Church and State in Ethiopia: The Sixteenth to the Eighteenth Century," an invited chapter for African Zion: The Sacred Art of Ethiopia, a catalogue accompanying an international exhibition of Ethiopian art.
