Fellowship Work Summary, 2010–11

Denise Z. Davidson drafted three-fourths of her book Surviving Revolution: Bourgeois Families in France, 1780–1830. She wrote an essay on "Feminism and Abolitionism: Trajectories of Revolutionary Rights Talk" to be included in The French Revolution in Global Context (Cornell University Press, forthcoming), and coauthored an article on "Defining 'Family' in Revolutionary France: Inheritance Practices and the Victory of Sons."
