Fellowship Work Summary, 1990–91

Dan T. Carter wrote four chapters of his study of George Wallace and American politics and The Charles Edmondson Historical Lectures, which he delivered at Baylor University. They will be published by Baylor University Press in 1992 under the title, George Wallace, Richard Nixon, and the Transformation of American Politics, 1963-1972. He gave the annual William Windom lecture at Middle Tennessee State University and delivered the commencement address at Coker College in Hartsville, South Carolina. He continued his work as a member of the advisory board of "The American Experience," the television series produced by WGBH in Boston.
