Cathy N. Davidson devoted her attention to her book-length project, tentatively entitled Closings: Work in Postindustrial America. Including photographs by Bill Bamberger, the volume will be published by W. W. Norton in 1997. She also worked on "Critical Fictions," an article to be published in PMLA.
