Fellowship Work Summary, 2015–16

Annegret Fauser completed her book, Aaron Copland: “Appalachian Spring” which will be published by Oxford University Press in 2017. She also wrote an article “Sounding the Tricolore: France and the United States during World War II” for Cahiers de la Société Québécoise de Recherche en Musique in addition to two book chapters: “Mobilization for War: Gender, Culture, and Music in the Age of World Wars” for the Oxford Handbook on Gender, War, and the Western World since 1600, edited by Dirk Bönker, Stefan Dudink, Karen Hagemann, and Sonya Rose (Oxford University Press, 2017); and “Les Troyens” for the Cambridge Berlioz Encyclopedia, edited by Julian Rushton (Cambridge University Press, 2016).
