Alice Kessler-Harris made substantial progress on her biography of Lillian Hellman. She read proofs and put the finishing touches on a book of essays entitled Gendering Labor History (University of Illinois Press, 2007). In addition, she completed an interview with Norwegian historian Ida Blom (published in the American Historical Association's Perspectives in December 2006), and a profile of AHA president Linda Kerber (published by the AHA in January 2007).
