Adam Fairclough saw through press Race and Democracy: The Civil Rights Struggle in Louisiana, 1915-1972 (University of Georgia Press, 1995) and edited and wrote the introduction to Forty Acres and a Mule: The Black Farmers of Washington Parish, Louisiana, and the Lynching of Jerome Wilson (University of Georgia Press), by John Wilson, Horace Bond, and Julia Bond.
