An article version of that chapter was also submitted: “The Surrealist Revolution Against Whiteness: Contemporary Surrealism and Race Traitor Journal (1993–2005),” forthcoming in Oxford Art Journal in 2025 in a special issue guest-coedited by Abigail Susik and David Murietta Flores entitled “The Ultraleft and International Postwar Art, 1945–2000.” Susik also wrote the introduction to her edited volume, Surrealism and Animation: Transnational Connections, 1920–Present, forthcoming in 2025 from Bloomsbury Press. She completed the introduction to her guest-edited special issue of the Journal of Avant-Garde Studies, forthcoming in 2024, Surrealism and Anti-Authoritarianism, as well as a chapter for that special issue: “‘Art is the Armchair in which the State Sits for its Own Pleasure’: From Breton’s Surrealist Art Strike to Jouffroy’s Post-Surrealist Abolition of Art.” She completed a preface for the anniversary re-edition of The Forecast is Hot!: Tracts & Other Collective Declarations of the Surrealist Movement in the U.S., 1966–1976, forthcoming from Charles H.
