New format and pricing for broader reach and greater accessibility
The Humanities and STEM Faculty Institute series, a collaborative effort between the National Humanities Center and the College of Arts & Sciences at Howard University, will now be held in an engaging virtual format to explore how these disciplines can be integrated to produce groundbreaking research, innovative teaching practices, and socially responsible solutions.
Recognizing current budgetary concerns at universities, we’ve shifted to a dynamic and interactive virtual format to enable wider faculty participation and foster deeper conversations, networking, and interdisciplinary integration. During the institute, participants will delve into the intersection of these fields to explore cutting-edge research practices, innovative teaching methodologies, and effective strategies for funding these intersecting projects.
By bringing together leading scholars and dedicated educators, the institute will foster a collaborative environment where participants can share ideas, exchange best practices, and develop lasting inter-institutional relationships. Through engaging workshops, panel discussions, and hands-on activities, participants will gain the tools and knowledge needed to develop new research questions while creating dynamic and impactful learning experiences for their students.
Join Howard University scholars and other leading experts virtually as we explore the future of interdisciplinary education and empower the next generation of scholars, educators, and campus leaders.
