Fellowship Work Summary, 1994–95

George M. Wilson wrote "The Enigmatic American Film" for Analytic Film Theory, edited by Richard Allen and Murray Smith. A revised version of this essay will be the first chapter of his forthcoming study of Nicholas Ray. For that book he also drafted a chapter on Ray's film, Bigger than Life. He submitted "Semantic Realism and Kripke's Wittgenstein" to the journal Nous and completed "Reference, Generality, and Anaphora" for a volume edited by Paolo Leonardi that will be published by Basil Blackwell.
